2+ players

Every hole is played for the same amount. Low ball wins it.

With net scoring on, strokes come off each player's Course Handicap™.

Two Tie, All Tie

A hole only pays when one side is alone at the low. If two or more sides tie the low ball, nobody wins the hole.

Carry-Overs

With Carry-Overs on, a tied hole rolls its amount onto the next one — chop the 4th and the 5th is worth double, chop again and the 6th is worth triple. Turn the option off and a tied hole is simply a push.

Sides

Everyone plays for themselves unless you say otherwise — a field of five is five sides, and low ball of the five takes the hole. Want sides instead? Flip Teams on under Teams and put people where you want them. Sides don't have to be the same size: 2 v 3 works, and so do three or four sides. A side's low ball is what plays.

Who Puts Up What

Amount Is Per only matters when the sides are uneven.

  • Player — everyone puts up the amount every hole and the winning side splits the pot. At 10 a hole with 5 players, a lone winner collects the other 40.
  • Side — each side puts up the amount and splits it among its members. At 30 a hole, a 2 v 3 costs the pair 15 each and the trio 10 each, so both sides have the same at risk and the trio collect 10 a man when they win.

Settling Up

A hole is worth its amount for every hole's worth of stake riding on it, and the winning side collects from everyone else. Holes nobody wins are never funded. Set what happens to a carry-over still riding after the last hole under Carry-Over Left at the End.

Groups

More than a foursome? Turn Groups on under Groups and split the field into playing groups — scoring then filters to one group at a time. Everyone still plays the same skins.

Options you can set

Turn these on or off when you set up a Skins game.

  • Scores play net — strokes come from each player’s Course Handicap™.
  • Take strokes off the lowest Handicap Index® in the group, or everyone plays full.
  • Whether the amount is what each player puts up, or what each side puts up and splits.
  • Nobody wins the hole outright? Its amount rides onto the next one.
  • A carry-over still riding after the last hole either goes unpaid or is handed back to the sides that tied it.
